Colon Match Fail

Color match fail. Paint color didn’t match the wall sample we bought in and dried lighter than the actual paint color and we had to repaint the entire freakin house.

Not one coat.

This advertises as one coat, it took three coats. It’s not worth the cost.

Durable

This paint covers VERY well! I primed lime green with Valspar primer and this paint covered in one coat!

Sadly Disappointed

Figured I'd splurge on the "good stuff" trusting 1 gal / 1 coat would cost less than 2 gal / 2 coats of the "cheap stuff" (plus save time). Paintable area = 311 sq/ft. Cut it edges and rolled 1 wall at a time wet edge. Eggshell light tan over a slightly darker tan. Hard to achieve coverage, patchy, roller marks galore. The ironic dilemma: It requires another coat. If top coat with the "cheap stuff" i lose the durable "richer finish" i paid extra for. So i have to buy another gallon of prem...

Awful paint--run far far away

Having painted many, many things in my time as a former handyman and all-around DIY-er, I figured I'd try out a new-ish paint to my routine. Worse paint ever. One coat--total lie. Green over a toothpaste teal color took up to three coats in some areas. Smooth finish-absolutely not. Using a clean roller and brush left all sorts of streaks and puckering regardless of pressure. Great texture

Great quality paint. Does mot drip much which helps keep floor clean. I painted on light color wall with one coat of primer and one coat of paints. Finish / texture is amazing. Very Impressed

What a beautiful paint. I only needed 1 coat to go over a darker paint in my bedroom. The color is gorgeous!

Not impressed

Scuffed, Stained and Transfered within a week

I've only used Behr paint up to now. This paint was gorgeous going up, though I still needed at least two coats. I noticed a mark on the wall that looked like drywall dust. When I wiped it with a dry cotton rag, more marks appeared. I figured going over it with a damp sponge might even out the paint and remove any dust. Nope paint is ruined. Valspar offered a refund, but no additional anything for wasted time painting my bathroom twice. Totally disappointed. I only use eggshell, except on trim, ...

Perfect color match and great coverage.

Fantastic paint for the money

Decided to break from the usual bear paint, and give this a try. Got some fairly bright colors, and the walls were white. First coat actually covered very well considering the drastic color change, and the second coat just came out amazing. Paint hides very well, the color is super uniform, and clean up is a breeze. Highly recommend this brand for someone looking for a quality finish without buying the most expensive paint you can get.
