Most of the time I have used flat for walls.

Excellent Quality and Coverage
Would RecommendWe recently switched to the ovation line of Sherwin-Williams. We have always painted with two coats and our friend who is a painter told us that the quality of the cheaper line will yield the same results. It did a great job and we saved about $25 a gallon.

Great one-coat coverage
Would RecommendGreat paint coverage. I've used another brand in my home and it took three coats to cover my walls. I almost got away with one coat (with this paint) but the walls hadn't been painted in many years. I will now use SW paint exclusively.
