Verify associate knows about color matching
The Cabot stain color named Chestnut brown is a different shade or color than the Chestnut Brown I bought before. I brought in the old can to make sure Associate matched the color from the mix code on the old can. It wasn’t until I applied the stain that I noticed the color mixture was different. Very frustrating, I would like to get a refund.

A very good quality stain.
Would RecommendI have been very pleased with the product. Covers well and lasts a long time. The only thing I was disappointed in was that I had purchased 5 gallons three years ago and only used half of it. It was sealed tightly and kept in controlled temperature. When we opened it to use it this year it had gone bad and I had to purchase it again. I would have thought it would have lasted more than 3 years in storage. A good quality stain to use on decks along river because it contains mold preventative.
