Beautiful Paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Valspar Reserve® Interior Paint + Primer has wonderful coverage. No need for coats of primer and multiple coats of paint to cover. I used this in a dining room with navy walls and various marks and putty filled nail holes. It went on smoothly and covered like a dream. Now my dining room is light and cheery in day. I highly recommend for DIY projects and painting.

Not Pleased

I bought this expensive paint in an effort to save time for a weekend paint job; a small bedroom. The original walls were off white and I was painting them a different white and still had to do two coats. I could have gotten the cheaper Valspar 2000 if I was going to have to do 2 coats anyway. Also, the flat paint still has a sheen. It's not flat. Not pleased.

no extra primer needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to apply, perfect for a beginner!. The color was also really pretty and I'm really happy I was able to paint my living room a new color and not have to worry about priming it separately!

One coat!

A coworker recommended this to me and I figured I'd give it a go. I chose Nordic Bleu as my color. This paint really is one coat! It went over a flat Shell White that the builder originally painted with. It covered the Shell White beautifully. I did do one more coat to ensure consistency in color between the area closer to the trim, but overall, would 100% use this product again and suggest it to anyone.

TOOK 3 COATS!

I bought this because it said one coat and that was a lie. I painted pre-primed wooden doors and one coat definitely wasn’t enough see picture of the one coat. Took 3 coats to look nice. This paint is way too expensive for me having to paint 3 coats. Very disappointed.

Used it in the basement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this one in our basement as well and the other half of the bare drywall after we remodeled it. I felt like it had a good coverage and I didn’t have to go over Everything again only certain spots. Overall I was pleased with it and I got the job done well. We just picked basic white and used it as a primer.

surprise!

Just painted a guest bedroom with Valspar Reserve. My usual choice of paint is SW Duration, but due to a national shortage none was available. I tried Valspar Reserve and was totally impressed. It is a wonderful paint! Covered a bold color in one coat, went on smoothly with no splatters. The finish is gorgeous! Looks like I found a new go-to paint!

Great primer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Valspar Reserve Interior Pant and Primer is a very good paint. I was pleased how it covered the area with only one coat. Previously, the paint I have used generally takes a single primer and ten I must repeat the process with paint on the same area.

Takes more than 1 coat

I bought this paint because of the one coat coverage guarantee. That needs to be removed from the label, as I am now working on my second coat. This paint is way too expensive for the poor quality.

a little too thick

great paint, great coverage. on wood trim it is a bit thick and dries really fast. It does not fall /settle to a flat surface before it dries.

My go to paint!

It goes on easily and covers very nicely. I had enough to paint my daughter's room and it didn't take long with this paint. It adds that beautiful change to a room so simply. I definitely recommend!

Excellent Quality

Beauty that last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After searching high and low for this great interior paint. It's worth the search. It comes in eggshell, flat, satin, and semi gloss sheen. Wide variety shades selection. It's very to easy use, just get you a roller and painter tape. One coat is enough but you can apply a second coat. It's has low odor and takes no time to dry (like a hour or two) but for reapplying give it up to four hours to see do you need a second coat or not. Another plus ...
