Love the design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging itself is nice, but the only thing I didn't like is the paper around the logo. It’s not fully secured which can be annoying, but also not a big deal. The lid design is absolutely great! There is nothing more annoying than the mess after dumping some paint and all the edges get messed up. The insert to neatly pour the paint into a container is absolutely amazing and it helps a LOT with precision. I can't wait to use it!

Coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very washable friendly paint. It goes on surfaces very smooth. It has a great coverage that is easy to apply. It adheres to things very nicely.

No rust packaging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the updated packaging for this Valspar paint. The container is plastic not metal. I can’t say how many times I’ve opened old paint for touch up and little rust flakes break off into the paint. That won’t happen with plastic! I don’t need a hammer to close the container since it’s plastic. It clicks closed. I appreciate the pour spout which lessens the likelihood of spills and messes. Garbage

Not worth the price! multiple coats and the color of the wood still bleeds thru. You can see the roller marks

NOT 1 coat

1 coat guaranteed where?????? I am on 2nd coat but chose the more expensive can due to one coat guaranteed. Now I’m headed back to buy more as it will take minimum 2 coats.

Valspar Reserve Interior

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this paint as soon as it came on the market and have continued to buy and use in my house of over 100 years of age. It covers and makes the house look like a show place that it is.

Don't waste your time

One coat coverage is a joke I was painting of a white wall and had to do 3 coats this paint was a waste of my time and money very disappointed and false advertisement on valspars end

Garbage! 3 coat minimum

One coat my butt. It took 3 coats and the alabaster color under is still visible. Absolute trash product.

Not worth the price, time

I don’t know how they can state 1 cost coverage. I followed all their directions. Walks weren’t even close to the measured amount. Much smaller. Temps good. Walls clean and dry. Used appropriate equipment. Still require 2 and in some areas 3 coats. Had I known I’d have used a cheaper paint. Might as well for the same expense, cost and time of applying this brand. Could have spent less on 3 coats if a different brand. Unbelievable !!! Not at all satisfied or happy !!

Not one coat coverage

I was told this could cover light beige in one coat no problem. I didn’t mind the cost for that reason. Now I have to pay for a second coat! I’m a teacher and am frustrated at the cost for the quality. I would have been better off with a cheaper paint.

Not a fan.

I don’t know how they are allowed to put “one coat coverage. Guaranteed” on the can. Both the rooms I just painted, with two separate colors had to have two coats of paint. I used two buffet brushes and different roller types, didn’t matter. Better off buying the cheap paint in my opinion.

Great one coat coverage
