Terrible coverage
Would Not RecommendI bought this paint based on its overwhelmingly positive reviews. Don't know if I got a "dud" or what, but the coverage was not at all good. I used the same brushes/rollers I had painted a wall in my bathroom last week with a different kind of paint, and it came out beautiful....so I know it wasn't the tools I used. I waited to write this review until the paint dried, but once dried it was extremely streaky and blotchy. I will be returning this paint to Lowe's and getting the brand I usually use...

Horrible smell , enough to burn my eyes
Would Not RecommendThere is no way this is zero Voc’s. The smell was so strong my eyes were burning after about 40 minutes of painting. Maybe the company made a mistake and put the wrong label on a can of kilz or an outdoor paint.

Needed more than 1 coat
Would Not RecommendI have been a loyal Behr user for 30 years. But the last two times showed me the quality has declined. So I decided to go to Lowe’s for paint. The Ovation Plus was recommended for the job. This was my first time using it and my last. Not only did one coat not do the job (which is what I specifically wanted to happen) but the coverage was terrible. It’s a small bathroom I am painting and I only have 1/3 of a can left. Needed More Than One Coat
Would Not RecommendUsed Ovation Plus for the first time. I've used other Sherwin Williams paints in the past (including from an actual Sherwin Williams store) and never had coverage issues. I'm just painting a pale light gray room to the super white off-the-shelf paint color. Was kind of surprised that you could still definitely see the old color underneath the coat of paint. It will definitely take 2 coats. I'm going to have to go back to Lowe's to get more paint to complete my project.
