Would Not RecommendMy husband and i are renovating our house slowly. We currently scraped off the popcorn in the living room and hallway. We bought this product to paint the ceilings after retecturing the walls and ceiling. We let the mud dry for 2 days before painting. We spent 2 days painting and painted 3 coats on the ceiling, 2 on the walls. The day after painting we start to see the paint cracking and chipping. Now we have to start over and scape our ceilings. Thankfully our walls turned out great.

We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen. We tore out the old kitchen soffits, replaced the drywall, and had the ceiling retextured (orange peel). I used a Graco Magnum sprayer and did one coat of Kilz Primer and then came in with this Valspar ceiling paint. It looks great! Definitely a bright white color.
