Would RecommendThrifted a wooden box drawer to house art/office supplies, but it had that 80’s orange wood tone veneer. I saw on YT that tan paint helps to neutralized it, so I carefully sanded it and then applied a 1 to 6 ratio of Valspar satin paint in Turbo Tan and water to make a paint wash, then used a sponge brush to add and gently wipe some of it off with rag after a minute or so. Would RecommendGot a couple of samples to try out and it was a blessing as 2 of the colors we really didn’t like once we tried it in the actual room. It definitely is the way to go.
