Would RecommendThrifted a wooden box drawer to house art/office supplies, but it had that 80’s orange wood tone veneer. I saw on YT that tan paint helps to neutralized it, so I carefully sanded it and then applied a 1 to 6 ratio of Valspar satin paint in Turbo Tan and water to make a paint wash, then used a sponge brush to add and gently wipe some of it off with rag after a minute or so. Valspar Paint samples
Would RecommendGot a couple of samples to try out and it was a blessing as 2 of the colors we really didn’t like once we tried it in the actual room. It definitely is the way to go.

Would RecommendGreat for helping you decided if you actually like the color or not. If you are actually trying to use it as paint though you’ll need a few coats. Definitely was spotty the first coat but improved when I painted another. It is just a sample after all. A little pricey for a sample but the can is a pretty good size though.
