Do Not Buy

I bought this to recover an area that was already primed but not painted. Not only did it not work, it actually made the paint color under the previous primer *more* visible.

Terrible coverage...three and four coats to cover old paint...would not recommend

Don't waste your money

I bought this paint to cover up some spots on my walls that where repaired and primed with flat white paint. Now my repair spots are even more noticeable and have a yellow tint to them. This paint is more like elmers glue than it is paint. such a waste of money and time.

Seems good quality for the money!

I had Lowe's tint this to 18% gray. The color matched what I wanted & the eggshell finish is perfect. I applied two coats of this over brand new drywall that had been primed with one heavy coat of Valspar Pro PVA primer. The paint went on easy & covers well. Can't say how well it would hide any existing imperfections or how well this will hold up but if there are any issues I'll edit this review.

Terrible product

Will not cover raw wood or scuffs. Parts of it dried yellow. I will be throwing this junk in the trash. Don't waste your money or time.

This product is terrible.

I purchased two gallons of this paint to redo my bathrooms. It didn't take me very long at all to realize this paint was thin, did not cover anything, amd did not hide anything. I would have had to paint these bathrooms five times in order to get the correct look. I live my life by a budget, it will take me quite a while to budget more paint to finish this project. I really wish I would have looked at the reviews before I purchase this. I feel like I wasted my money.

use on rentals

i have 7 rental houses i use the same off-white in everyone so i can use left overs in the next paint job normal leases stay in place 2 years so every 4 months or so i am painting.this stuff is the bomb. cleans up well and a couples times has lasted thru 6 year leases and only neded one coat to freshen

Solid Product

We have been happy so far with the paint. Its gone on easily. Definitely a good value going with the 5-gal version of the product. We have applied with brushes, rollers, and a gun.

Looks great.

Valspar was at a cost saving compared to another name brand.

This was are first time buying Valspar paint. We were very impressed how well it covered up the old paint. We only had to do a single coat.
