Very disappointed!

I lightly sanded exterior doors then washed them off and let dry before painting. Next day I checked the doors and the paint pealed right off. I could probably peal every bit of paint off. I’m sure the pressure washer will make easy work of removing this paint.

Painting wooden shutters didn't need a primer. When I paited ,the temperature was 12 degrees greater than the stated application limit so the drying time was extended.

Excellent Coverage

Easy Flowing Paint

Thin

Bought this week (white). Nice paint but wish I had read reviews first as it is VERY thin. Needed two coats to go over previously painted white surface. Also seems to be a little skimpy on the pigments. Would stick with Duramax from now on.

Returning to store

Comes out like a white wash rather than any sort of flat white. Photo was 4 coats.. I ended up using an indoor one coat white paint instead.

Quick and inexpensive

Flat black to the rescue, basement touch up, did the trick

Bought this paint yesterday, put one heavy coat on and noticed it was very translucent. Put a second heavy coat and this is the product I got. You can even see on the can, the drip running down the can, you can still see through the paint. This is the worst paint I have ever used. I will not use Valspar paint again after this, especially paying $20 for a quart of this.

Worth trying

Paint spreads nicely. The paint doesn't fade or dull in anyway over time, at least as long as I have used it, it hasn't. I use with craft brushes as well and it works well.

Discolored Paint

I painted my house and 2 story garage detached garage. January 2021. Love the color. I noticed as I was cleaning my soffits a few weeks ago that the front and side of my house has alot of pink. Our house is stucco, we pressure washed the buildings prior to paint as we have done over 18 years and 3rd time painting, used a 3/4 nap roller, and paint brush to get in the crevices of the chunky stucco. The buildings came out beautiful, coverage was excellent,so I don't understand how this has happene...

Perfect paint for our patio planters.

I needed to repaint my planters in our backyard. I was happy to find a Valspar color like our original color. The paint went on our planters very smoothly and only one coat was needed. When the paint dried I was happy to see that there were no brush strokes because of the smoothness and thickness of the paint. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

OUTDOOR PAINT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Valspar Flex Outdoor Paint and Primer on my brother's house in which I have rented for 12 years and, he was overwhelmed at the results afterward. Plus, he could not believe that I did it by myself!! It was easy with the Paint I Primer from Valspar; every day I got my paint opened up again and resumed my painting, it was the same great quality.
