Pecan “color” it is so lightly pigmented that you cannot even see it, at least on both pine and oak. I did half of a pine door and the only way to tell the difference was to feel for the raised grain. Just a heads up regarding the color.

Cabot is great for fences and decks
Would RecommendWe tinted Cabot neutral base Dark Slate to put on a 5 year old fence. It goes on super easy and covers completely with one coat. Our plants and garden accessories pop against the dark color and the fence looks brand new. The project lasted several days so we left our brushes in a metal bucket of water until the job was finished. Clean up is simple with water and fabric softener. I've used Cabot on furniture and it always does a great job.
