I had a gallon of paint tinted and had to wait till my contractor was done before i could use it and the paint was no good it when on like stain they wouldnt take it back and give me another one said my month was up and they couldnt do anything ever unhappy after the price of paint to loss that money

Glides on easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two gallons of this paint to use in my grandson's room. He originally wanted the room a hideous bright blue. I was able to cover the bright blue paint with two coats of Valspar Ultra Interior Paint & Primer in Ultra White. The room looks beautiful now!!!

Disappointing Coverage…

I have been a Valspar customer for years. My parents are remodeling their home and just like me, have always had great results. I assisted painting the 200 sq foot room and to say shockingly disappointed would be an understatement. Two coats and the coverage is still abysmal. Streaky, paint pulled up, white patches galore. New work only

This paint has absolutely no coverage on old work homes, odds are it would do fine for new work, but any old paint takes an absurd amount of coats to cover anything. Yes, you could prime the walls to assist in covering up the previous paint but there are many paints on the market that will cover the previous paint without having to prime. Many coats to go darker

Consumer Reports Got It Wrong: Ultra/Signature.

While Valspar Ultra does seem to have a sturdy feeling finish, and it's probably therefore durable, the coverage isn't great and the paint looks a bit odd, or slightly overly shiny when it dries. We also painted with Valspar Signature, which gave us slightly better coverage and a nicer overall look when it dried. Love the colors

Poor coverage

It has taken us 2 gallons to paint a small bedroom. Coverage is terrible and we have done at 3 coats and still doesn’t look good! This is not our first time painting!! Would never use this paint again.

Thanks for NOT mixing the paint!

I ordered this paint for delivery because I couldn't come in to the store. Delivery was early and that may be because they never mixed the tint in!! Ran out in the middle of a wall with the first can I purchased in the store and opened this can. I did the best I could mixing it. I hope the colors match and I hope it dries properly.

Flat version FTW!

Superb paint

This is the best paint for multiple surfaces. I used it to paint my entire condo, walls, ceiling, doors and trim. Very "sticky", adheres well to any surface. Very thick. Great coverage and beautiful finish.
