Long lasting color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been about two years and it looks like I painted yesterday. Beautiful color, long lasting, easy to keep clean. Very happy with valspar product.

Amazing coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only paint I will use! I used to use whatever was cheapest until a friend bought me a bucket of valspar signature. It cut my project time in half and so much less drips and runs. It also wears really good. No fading even in a sunny window.

Very Poor Coverage

NO STAR !!This wall was primed and it would NOT cover it white on off white primer! Only about a 175 sq ft and will have to do it again! It’s like water! Way too thin to get what it says in the can! “Smooth, high hiding coverage” bull if you can’t over white with white primer give me a break! I am a pro painter and usually use Sherwin Williams at the same price and will go back!! Even the extra miles would be worth it! I am sick of big fake claims

Extremely poor coverage/extremely poor service

After three coats on only one wall (primed with Valspar dry wall primer) it did not cover. We used an entire can on less than 200 sq ft. Can says to return receipt to Lowes for replacement or money back. Woman at returns desk said it wasn't their problem, I had to take it up with Valspar.

Go-To Interior Paint

Amazing Paint!

I love Valspar!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Valspar is the only paint I'll use! My husband & I have our home plus 2 Airbnb's. They all have Valspar on the walls. One home is a beach cottage with gloss white walls, one home has all earth tones in satin, and our personal home has satin bluish gray walls.

Worst paint I’ve ever used

I had tried to review on Valspar’s website but of course their site doesn’t work right. This paint is just terrible. I had to cut in three times to get rid of streaks. Now the cutting in is so dark that 5 coats of rolling has not still not blended everything. I have invested so much time and energy, it’s not even worth starting with a different paint. I gave up after 5 coats and now I have a subpar paint job in a large portion of my house. I will never buy Valspar products again.

Worst paint ever!!!

This is the worst paint I have ever used. It took 5 coats to get an off white wall painted red. I finally gave up after 5 coats and now I have a subpar paint job. I have painted many times throughout my life and I know what I’m doing, so it was not user error! I will never buy valspar products again.

Chocolate oblivion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our entry hall needed some TLC- its horizontal taupe bands and white stripes were no longer crisp and contrasting. Valspar’s brown was the perfect shade- darker than a Hershey bar but light enough to not overwhelm the small and busy space. It also is opaque enough that one coat was sufficient. Pulling the masking tape and revealing the new look was very satisfying.
