Will cause divorce!

Valspar over all is not a bad brand, however this paint threw me and the wife into marriage counciling. Came recommend as a good option to paint inside doors and bathroom trim/cabinets & walls. Drips easy, spotty, streaks and paint is chiping and it has been less then 24 hours. Yes everything was cleaned, sanded and dry before applying, yes waited 4 hours between coats, yes used high quality paint rollers. I look forward to having to strip and sand again, lord help us all.

Great finish, deep color

Holy moly can it suck anymore

They call it 2,000 because thats how many coats it will take to cover whatever your painting, l have painted for over 50 years using all different brands and all different price ranges, this is by far the worst paint ever, it covers horribly (over white) it drys blotchy and irregular. Im betting even Landlord specialists avoid this crappy product, a 2 day job turned into 4 days because of extra coats being required to cover white paint, (pale oak eggshell) Valspar 2000 pull that crap off the s...

Not worth the low cost

Poor coverage and bad quality. Needs 3 coatings as paint fades or drips easily. There’s a reason the cost is low. Would not recommend.

Terrible. Steer clear of this paint. Three coats and it is still streaky. Covers terrible. Don’t wast your money on this paint.

It's a hard no for me

Does not cover in 1 single coat, wall looks patchy after the first coat. Decided on the cheaper route since it was the same color...do not buy unless you want to waste your time recoating.

Good coverage with Satin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We painted several rooms with Valspar 2000 in the satin finish. I love it! I did take a second coat to evenly coat the walls in our bedroom. The ceilings only required 1 coat. The finish is beautiful. I love how it has a soft sheen. It is much easier to keep clean vs. the previous paint.
