I like that the primer was included so that was one less step I had to do. It only took me one coat to cover an outdoor vase. I would highly recommend. Wish it came in a smaller size.

I decided to primer the blocks in our garage, so I could paint them. However, after applying the Valspar paint and primer, in ultra white, I decided it looked good enough to suit me. It's easy to apply. I prefer a roller as to using a brush. Purdy Marathon, is my preference. 1gallon will cover approximately 400 sq.ft. And it only takes about 1hr. for the first coat to dry. ...

No Trespassing Purple
Would RecommendI purchased this paint and had it tinted trespass (private property) purple for painting trees. It sticks great to trees with rough bark like oaks… I believe it will cover many more trees than purple paint spray cans. I have a hunch it will last longer in the weather too…

primer first!!
we are painting over red but the first picture is with several coats even though it says it has a primer. the 2nd photo is us adding a primer over the several coats so save yourself some time and money and use "killz 2" prior to painting a dark exterior surface
