Can each handrail section be attached to composite-sleeved 4x4 wood posts?


Hi Edkrez. Yes, the included rail mounting brackets can be attached to wood, composite, metal or most any structural substrate. Fasteners are included for wood, metal, and masonry attachment. With sleeved wood posts, you may want purchase longer #10 x 2.5" or 3" SMS (sheet metal/wood) fasteners. The included SMS/Wood #10 fasteners are 1.5". The determining factor is the thickness of the sleeve and the softness of the wood.
