Is it normal for this machine to actually ADD water while in the Spin cycle?

The washer because it uses less water and soap is suppose to rinse your cloths 5 times during the rinse cycle The water inside the washer only fills up to accommodate the amount of close that's inside the washer So to insure a good rinse cycle The washer will rinse while its spinning If the washer becomes off balance The rinse cycle will reset until the UN-balance load is corrected That will extend the total wash cycle

Was this Answer Helpful ?The reason it adds water during the spin cycle is because the load is off balance and it is trying to balance the load. Try redistributing the clothes before it fills up that should help.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes. Your machine sensed that there was excessive suds remaining in the tub after the wash cycle was complete and the wash water was pumped out to begin the spin/rinse cycle. The washer made attempts to dilute those suds by adding water to spin out the extra suds more than once. Your machine is designed to do this. I kinda bet that regular detergent was mistakenly used in your load of wash. That would account for the machine action that you witnessed. Only detergent designed for HE machines should be used in these new machines. It is all explained in great detail in the owner's manual. Did you take the time to read it? Now, if you did use HE specified detergent, then please accept my apologies for assuming incorrectly. Try resetting (rebooting) your machine computer program by pressing and holding in the START button for at least 5 or more seconds. That will reset and reprogram your machine and that should solve the issue. If that doesn't work, then call for warranty repair service as you may have a computer hardware or sensor problem. It happens as nothing man-made is perfect. Good luck and enjoy your new machine. It really is a very good machine. Mine certainly is.
