how do you run a ceiling fan through roof so it does not leak


Hello, thank you for your interest in Tuftex DeckDrain panels. To have a completely weatherproof fan the upperlevel deck would have to be weatherproof. We do not have specifications for this installation, however have a few suggestions for you, use a an outdoor sealed ceiling fan with a weatherproof box, mounted to the deck itself as close to a ridge or on the ridge itself using a long stem. Use a silicone caulk for the sealant as you would around the end laps and the overlaps.
