Can I use this as a roof on a carport? I live in palm springs ca, will this hold up in august w/ temp reaching 120 degrees.


Hello Rushhour, Thank you for your interest in our TUFTEX DeckDrain product. With the maximum service temperature at 150 degrees for this product, you can use it for a carport structure in California. Also our TUFTEX PolyCarb (available in Clear, Translucent White, and Smoke) has a maximum surface temperature of 270 degrees and could also be used for your structure. Although the temperature range is better with the TUFTEX PolyCarb, it does, however, allow light to come through. If the structure is in direct sunlight it can feel hotter with a Translucent product especially the clear.
