Are the rail stiffeners required to meet code for the 8 foot length? And will they be back in stock on Lowes? The $200 shipping charge for these and the additional mounting plate for the post makes me consider other systems.


Thank you for your question. The Select rail stiffener is only required for 8 ft sections of Select Classic and T-Rail Composite Railing, and only if required to meet local building code requirements.
