Should you use grooved or square edge boards for stairs?


Good Morning Kevin, We recommend square edged boards for aesthetics. That way you do not have a groove showing on the front of the stairs. You are able to route a groove in one side of the board to be able to still use the hidden fastener system to secure the boards. Thank you, Jennifer-Trex Customer Care Team
