Can deck boards be used as fascia when exterior joists are only 5.5" ?


Hello, and thank you for your interest in Trex! Even with a joist spanning of 5.5" we would still recommend using our fascia boards as fascia. Our decking boards are manufactured to be heavier and have a different weight distribution that can cause issues if they are applies on a vertical surface. Thank you, Trex Customer care
