Can this post cap be used on pressed wood 4x4 post or just composite material? Also what should be used to attach the post top on pressed wood??


Hello, we do recommend using the post cap with the post sleeve. The post sleeve is a little bigger than the 4x4 pressure treated wood so it helps the cap stay on without attaching it. We do not have any recommendations on how to attach the cap to the wood. Thanks, Elizabeth -Trex Customer Care
