I doubt they can be cut down to width at all. The track has a lot of mechanical workings in it and unless you can cut that down there is no way to cut the width that I can see. Length would be easy just cut the ends of the blind off.

yes blinds will mount inside as this one is about 1/2" shorter wide wise than it says
