Not quite sure what you are asking. They are designed to fit over the post. They are cut out inside to be able to fit over the top of a post. also there is a adhesive strip inside to help hold it onto the post. I have decided to drill 2 small holes on 2 opposite sides to install 2 small screws to hold it onto the post firmly.
