I don't see the height in the specs. What is the height of the cap? Thanks


It is 2.41-in tall.

I recently bought a similar model, except I got the ones with the round ball on top. but from the bottom to the top of the flat part of the base it's 2 1/2". The 4x4 post goes inside of the cap 1" deep, so in this case, the cap will only add 1 1/2" to the height of the post. When I first looked at them online I thought the base was solid. You can either glue or put a screw through the side of the base to fasten them to the post. Glue is faster and more aesthetic.
