What kind of saw blade is recommended for cutting the boards?


Alan, For cutting Voyage boards, we recommend a new carbide-tipped circular saw blade that is general-purpose or combination style with a positive rake angle. A 60-tooth blade typically gives the best overall cut, though 44T to 80T blades also perform very well depending on the saw size. As a general guide, use 24T–60T for a 10" blade and 40T–80T for a 12" blade. For the cleanest results, it’s also a good idea to make a fresh square cut on both ends before installation. -Your Deckorators Team
