can you disconnect the elbows so that you can run flex pipe through the floor


I don't think that you would want to run the flex pipe through the floor. Now I'm not a pro at this so take it for what it's worth. You want to use a 'thimble' between floors. You can connect the flex pipe to the thimble (you may need an adapter piece). Then connect rigid ducts in the floor below. Be careful of how long your exhaust run is. Hope this helps.
