Does it make the cold water seem warm?

Because of the way it flows, it doesn't make the cold water hot. Sometimes, you may have a short burst of warm water when you open the cold side but it quickly turns cold. If not, then the smart valve is failing and needs to be replaced.
Was this Answer Helpful ?The water valve is positioned at the furthest sink from the unit. When the unit is running the diverter valve pushes water from the cold water side back to the water heater. I have noticed that the cold water is luke warm but for a short second.

Was this Answer Helpful ?At the place where you mount the circulation valve the cold water is warm right after you run the hot water, but it gets cold again in a few seconds. The trick is to use the cold water first.
