Do you really need to drain the water heater after draining line? Not sure why the water heater needs to be fully drained.


ITS RECOMMENDED BECAUSE MOST HOMEOWNERS NEVER DRAIN AND FLUSH THEIR HEATERS IF ITS NOT DRAINED YOU COULD STIR SEDIMENT OR BUILD UP INSIDE THE HEATER AND FORCE IT INTO THE PUMP CAUSING PREMATURE FAILURE.
