Hot Water Recirc Pump 1-in -Dia Stainless steel Recirculating pump Electric/Gas tank
Can this recirculating pump be installed under the sink and not on the hot water heater?

This unit isn't designed for that put there are others that are. I chose this one because I only need one pump and then added three cross-over valves to handle three branch lines. If I chose one of the other types then I would have to be able to add power underneath three different sinks rather than just the one location by the tank. Not to mention the added cost of three pumps versus one.

Was this Answer Helpful ?No! The timer/pump must he attached to the hot water heater and the sensor must be placed under the sink furthest from the ht water so the two can communicate.
Was this Answer Helpful ?In order for the system to work, the pump must be installed on the water heater output and the sensor valve installed underneath the furthest sink.
