Does it help for freeze prevention

Complicated issue, this is a closed system, therefore it does provide the necessary circulation for those sinks in the recirculating circuit (the closed loop). For the sinks NOT in the recirculating part of the system, there is NO protection, as well as NO protection for that part from the water meter into the residence. You may still need to "drip" the farthest sink in order to provide freeze protection. I live in southern climate, where it is much easier, northern climates need much more protection than I do.
