Will this work with a hydronic central heating system?

You should take a look at the Apollo system first.

This system should work as advertised, when placed at the furthest faucet to the water heating system. The life span of the valve, is of course subjective to the amount of use it receives. We see no reason that this system should behave any differently on this heating system as any other, as long as it has been installed correctly according to the enclosed instructions.
