Hello, Jim! Our 4x4 Composite Deck Post Base Trim (also known as a Post Skirt) will indeed fit a 4x4 post/post sleeve. This product is actually measured at 4.55" in width, therefore, making it suitable to go around a 4x4 post. Easy installation allows you to simply slip the Base Trim (skirt) over top of the post/post sleeve as it will then slide right to the bottom of the post and into position.
