My deck is located in direct southern sun. Will this have any effect on boards curling, moving softening or damaging?


Hello, and thank you for your interest in Trex. Natural weather and heat from the sun will never structurally affect Trex decking. However all composites including Trex do expand and contract with temperature change but if you follow Trex's gapping guidelines the material will expand and contract accordingly.
