Can you give the edge a profile with a router? Is the color throughout ?

Hello, and thank you for your interest in Trex! The only routing that we suggest is for the sides of the square edge boards using our Trex router bit which is designed to create a groove for our hidden fastening system. In addition the color is not throughout the entire board. Trex decking is capped on only three sides of the board. The underside/board ends will be uncapped showcasing the composite core color. For aesthetic reasons you may paint/stain the board ends or underside with any exterior construction paint or stain designed for a wood. Thanks, Tori - Trex Customer Care Team
