Can this product be put directly on concrete and the ground? I want to make the deck 12' x 12' and house is on a slab so I cannot raise the deck up.


Hey Timothy! Thank you so much for reaching out and your interest in Trex! We do not recommend installing our decking material directly on a solid surface, including concrete. We recommend at minimum 1.5" of clearance from a solid surface, installed to a joist system. This will allow for appropriate air flow, recommended gapping for water drainage, for successful performance of the material.
