can you use trex boards as a step on the stringers


Hello, and thank you for your interest in Trex! You can use all Trex decking boards as stair treads as long as you use the correct stair stringer spacing for proper support. For our Enhance Basics line we recommend a maximum 9" on center stringer spacing. Thanks, Tori - Trex Customer Care Team
