Can azek be laid over a marine grade plywood rather than a membrane to insure it is waterproof. There is an interior Ceiling underneath deck.


Good morning. Thank you for your interest in our AZEK Vintage Coastline deck boards. We would not recommend installing the deck boards directly on top of of any membrane or plywood. The decking would require a minimum of 1.5" of clearance under the bottom of the deck board to insure the product performs as intended and allows for airflow.
