What's the minimum spacing between "boards"? That is, do they expand like regular deck boards?


Hello, thank you for your question. The TimberTech AZEK decking options suggest a 1/8"-1/4" gap between boards lengthwise for airflow and drainage. All butt-joints and miter-joints are recommended to be fitted tight with no gap at the time of installation. This decking can expand and contract with temperature change.
