Why does the description say “metal” and “powder coated”? It’ plastic!! One of mine just broke after being hit by my hose.

Hi, These hose guides are constructed with solid aluminum for the stake and roller. It is recommended that the hose moves horizontally across the rollers rather than up and down where it has the potential to hit the decorative topper. The topper is made of sturdy plastic and filled with plaster for additional durability. The decorative topper can also be screwed tighter to the center rod if it becomes loose over time. Apologies that one of your hose guides has broken, and Lowe's should be able to help with a return or replacement. Thank you for your question!
