What makes this product, which is four times the cost of pelletized lime, worth the extra cost? Thanks


FWIW, pelletized lime is very course and I ruined a spreader trying to put it down! The finer, the better.

Hello. The Fast Acting Lime is ground very finely before pelletization and includes patented Nutri-Bond technology. The fine grind ensures that the lime begins to activate quickly, so more calcium is readily available. The Nutri-Bond technlogy ensures that the calcium remains in the soil rather than being through leaching or run off. The majority of the lime is available to the plant whereas with some other products only a small percentage is available.
