Doesn't Sound Like the Best Spreader BUT Can I Use it for Some Simple Hauling of Say, Soil or Amend?? Thanks!!

We do not recommend putting soils, sand or manures in the spreader. These products will make the spreader too heavy to push and can clog the spreader. Due to the weight you can also possibly damage the spreader.
Was this Answer Helpful ?You could but not sure how long it would last. The bottom of the hopper has a turning apparatus that breaks up some fertilizer clumps. If it were to jam with dirt or something not intended to be used it could well damage or even break it. Better to just get a wheel barrow.
