I'm installing over 100 year old wood plank floor sitting above a very humid/musty crawl space. There will be humidity and moisture exposure at the bottom of the flooring. Is a vapor barrier the best suggestion in this situation?


Hello! Yes you will need to use a vapor barrier under the floor. A 6mil polyethylene vapor barrier. The temperature and humidity will also need to be within the guidelines. Thank you for your inquiry. -Amy
