ceiling joists are 14" apart.The brace is too long.Anyone know of a shorter brace/better way of supporting a heavy fixture


Our technician was able to get this brace to exactly 14” with a couple taps of his fist when pushing on a table. If the joists spans are 14” or greater, this can be made to work.
