Can this be glued directly to my metal patio roof underneath, whats its weight.

I find it best to use a Silicone type caulking where it butts against a Ceiling Joist or solid support. Then fasten with 1 1/2 inch screws and flat washers. (Drywall screws work real well). A word of caution however, if you intend to use a Hammer drill to drive the screws, be sure you select one that has a VERY Low impact setting, You will see why very quickly, Personally i don't recommend using this type of Powertool for this installation. A Cordless Drill set on about 2 works perfect to drive the fasteners into the support structure and "Dimple" it slightly too. Once installed I recommend a Foil type tape to seal the seams and and any where you join two Foam Boards together. Thats it...I have used this Product and this type of installation on dozens of Arizona Room Ceilings with Terrific results. The Insulation value is Very Good and I have discovered also the Noise reduction value is Very noticeable as well. The weight of the product is so minimal it's not a concern.

Sure, but what I did was use screws and washers white ones, and screwed to the supports. This foam works wonders, huge difference. I used the 2 inch thick, 4 x 8 ft panels.
