Can this be used to add a half inch to an existing step?


I put a 1/4 inch QUIKRETE Resurfacer for a base coat on my steps, then covered it with mortar repair the next day. It worked great, but you may have to tint the mortar if you need to match the color. It dries almost white.

QUIKRETE Zip-and-Mix Repair Mortar is for smaller areas. For adding a 1/2" topping, we recommend Sand (Topping) Mix #1103
