Can this be used as parging mix for a slab foundation?


QUIKRETE® Zip-and-Mix mortar should only be used in small areas. If used in large areas, it will tend to shrink and crack. For parging, we recommend instead QUIKRETE® Mortar Mix or QUIKRETE® Mason Mix. These products do not contain as much cement, so they will be less likely to shrink.
