Work was done by professional but color was off. He then painted with paint for cement. Now looks really obvious and terrible. What to do?

When making repairs, getting a color match can be difficult – we always recommend to trial the repair material in a small, inconspicuous area first and wait 24 hours to ensure that the appearance, including color, is acceptable before using the material in less discrete areas. If the paint is not fully opaque, there may be differences in the final color between the original and repaired areas. Additional coats of paint may be necessary to mask the differences in color between the existing surface and the repair.
